When a single fiber optic cable is cut in Virginia, half the internet goes offline. The architecture of the modern web routes local traffic halfway across the country only to send it back next door. It is inefficient, structurally insecure, and highly fragile.
Untapped latent compute.
Billions of incredibly powerful consumer devices and enterprise hardware nodes are already deployed globally. By networking these devices securely, we can construct a distributed supercomputer that operates entirely at the edge.
We don't need to build more data centers. We just need better software to orchestrate the hardware we already have.
Developer experience is everything.
Historically, decentralized networks have been crippled by atrocious developer experiences. Building for a distributed mesh required a PhD in cryptography. EVE changes this. The EVE SDK provides exactly the same primitives developers already love, auth, databases, and storage, but routes them entirely through the decentralized edge.
